Pembroke has acquired a B767-300ER from SAMA Leasing Limited of the Cayman Islands in a groundbreaking transaction. The Company, which up to now has focussed on narrowbody aircraft - particularly the Boeing B717, was previously the remarketing agent for the owner and had arranged a lease to Malev Hungarian Airlines. Financing was arranged with Bank of Nova Scotia and Capital Bank. Malev Hungarian Airlines, which became a public limited company in 1992, is the national airline of Hungary and operates a network of services to points in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, North America and Asia. It offers scheduled, charter, international and regional passenger and cargo services employing a fleet of B737s, B767s, Fokker 70's and someTupolev Tu-154B's.
