Pembroke Group is proud to have entered into a lease transaction of three Fokker 50's with Air Andaman. Air Andaman considers the Fokker 50 ideally suited and cost effective for its domestic operations in Thailand. Air Andaman will add its three-leased Fokker 50s to a fleet of two British Aerospace Jetstream 31s previously used on the handful of short hops it operated in southern Thailand. Air Andaman will operate a number of domestic destinations previously served by Thai Airways International and will service also a number of new destinations in Thailand. Air Andaman will also launch the first daily non-stop services to Mae Hong Song, a town in remote mountains abutting the Myanmar border, from Bangkok. Services to Narathiwat, on Malaysian border, from Bangkok will now be a non-stop service from Bangkok.

Fokker Services Asia provides a comprehensive Customised Support Package to Air Andaman. This is aimed at assisting Air Andaman in the start-up of the operation. The Customised Support Package includes operational training, initial spares provisioning, engineering support, spare parts lease and forward exchange service and fleet hour agreements for component overhaul and repair. Heavy maintenance as well as engine QEC support is also provided at Fokker Services' facility at Singapore's Seletar airport. Standard Aero provides a total Engine Asset Management (TEAMT) to Air Andaman with QEC support with Fokker Services Asia.
