Pembroke Group Limited, the aircraft lease, finance and management group headquartered in Dublin, announced today that Pembroke Group and Lufthansa Technik have entered into a partnership for the provision of remarketing, technical and asset management services to aircraft owners worldwide. Under the terms of the partnership, Pembroke will provide aircraft remarketing and lease management services to customers around the world. Lufthansa Technik will, through its worldwide network, provide technical services, line, base and heavy maintenance and other asset management services, up to and including Total Asset Support.

The joint venture enables the partners to integrate their strengths, allowing Pembroke and Lufthansa Technik to provide incremental services on a basis that is seamless, maintains the highest degree of quality and is cost effective, thus providing a very competitive total support service to the market.

To date the joint venture has performed physical inspections of various A320 family aircraft with further inspections planned. Prior to modification and delivery to future lessees, Lufthansa Technik will park and/or store aircraft at a suitable location in line with the future plans of the aircraft. Pembroke has also arranged for the painting of a number of B767-300ER aircraft at the Lufthansa Technik facility in Shannon, Ireland, prior to delivery to lessees.
